Avery Kemper

VP OF REcruitment

To each potential new member,

My name is Avery Kemper and I have the honor and privilege of serving as the Vice President of Recruitment for Alpha Gamma Delta this year! I am so eternally grateful to hold this position and beyond excited to meet each one of you in August. I could go on and on about why I love Alpha Gam and how these friendships have blessed me beyond words. Recruitment is such a wonderful time for us to showcase to each of you why we found home here and love it, but most importantly it is about YOU! My biggest hope for each of you in this experience is to think about what is most important to you, lean into your values, have FUN, and find a home where you know you will thrive and grow throughout your time at Auburn and beyond!

Since elected to this position last November, my team and I have been planning, preparing, and praying so intentionally over recruitment and each of you. Recruitment can be hard sometimes, but my best advice to you is to take it one day at a time, enjoy every moment, breathe, and be grateful for this opportunity! You will make so many wonderful friendships across the Panhellenic community that will carry into your four years. Every Potential New Member will feel the same way as you ( excited, nervous, a little stressed :) ), so rest in the fact you are never alone and will end the week exactly where the Lord meant for you to be. Make new friends, put yourself out there, embrace the challenges, and most importantly be YOU!

Alpha Gamma Delta is filled with so many different women who flourish in their own ways. None of us are perfect and we don't expect you to be either! Come as you are and we will welcome you with open arms. That’s what sisterhood is all about! These are the girls I have my most favorite memories, laugh the hardest, and spend all of my days with. They inspire me to become a better version of myself each day through their constant love and support. I would not be the woman I am today without Alpha Gam! I pray that each of you will find a home that makes you feel the exact same way. I am SO EXCITED for you to meet my people in August and even more excited for Alpha Gam to get to know you!

Maddie Bibb

VP of new member experience

Dear Potential New Members,

My name is Maddie Bibb, and I am blessed to serve as this year's Vice President of New Member Experience, also known as our chapter's "Mama Nut." I’m so excited to get to be there for you and walk as you adjust, figure out, and fall in love with life here at Auburn! Freshman year can feel like a rollercoaster at times, and it is a privilege that I will get to share the ups, downs, and in-betweens with each of y’all. I promise to always be a shoulder you can lean on, a voice of wisdom, an ear that will listen, and a heart ready to pour out so much love!

I hope you know how excited we are to show you the treasure that is our Sisterhood and how excited we are you are choosing to go through the recruitment process. Recruitment is an incredible experience where you will meet hundreds of new girls and start making sweet college memories. I want to encourage you to invest in each other during this time and start making connections. Get to know the girls in your Pi Chi group or your dorm, go get ice cream, or on a walk between parties. Do things that fill your bucket up and keep your light shining bright!

During this week, similar to Freshman year, there will be many emotions, and it’s easy to be overwhelmed - whether that’s with excitement and joy or maybe because things didn’t go the way you thought they would. So my first piece of “motherly advice” is to choose joy and give yourself grace. Keep on grinning, growing, and get excited to make some sweet memories! No one is perfect, no process either, but you are here for a reason and are going to do amazing things!

Getting to serve Alpha Gam this next year means so much to me because this Sisterhood has encouraged me, pushed me, loved me, and shaped me. I could not be more excited to pour into your lives in the same ways I have been poured into over these past two years. I hope you’re excited for these next four years, and know we’re excited for you too! It goes by fast but is so full of love, laughter, and life lessons waiting for you!

Love y’all bunches - Mama Nut
